Switch.

Last Saturday my wife went to lunch with a friend from the past that she lost contact with. I figured she'd be away for some time so I had our grown boys come over and help me with a project. The project was to move our dining room into our family room. For years since we moved in our house my wife has insisted on keeping the dining room in the larger of the two rooms. But with the kids grown, we rarely use the dining room and always eat in the kitchen. And we always use our family room. So while she was at lunch catching up, we made the switch. We had fun at lunch too.

Surfer Girl.

I work in a small office just me and another girl. At lunch I stay in and turn on our voice mail and just surf the internet.

Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend

Last week I found out my husband, a well known physician, has been having an affair with another doctor (a guy!!!) in his practice. I confided this news with my best friend on Saturday and she felt that the only way to get revenge was to really have some lunchtime fun by racking up obscene credit card charges on his cards. Clothes. Hats (I even hate wearing hats but that didn't stop me from buying them). And, jewelry. Always wanted matching diamond bracelets.

Fun at BK

A friend and me went to a Burger King drive through at lunch time. We wanted to mess with the WELCOME TO BURGER KING person so we just sat there and kept changing our order. From whoppers to salads to asking if the salad was fresh to going back to whoppers and wanting them cooked one medium rare and the other medium well. It was a real riot and the drive through line kept getting longer and longer.
